Thanks Joe and ClubDal! Sorta overwhelming where to start, but my experience mimics so many other here (waiting/tracking on Undine/lusting) that it's all old hat for most of us already! :D I bought 'Pelle' sight-unseen (a few glimpses of a Clubman whizzing by) and no test-drive/fitting, so I was taking a risk (6ft. 230lbs) and bought motivated by mileage..needless to say I'm TOTALLY blown away, and mileage is now the furthest thing from my mind! LOL I predict a few sessions with online traffic schools are in my future!

MaxG - very nice looking Sparkling Silver/BLK Clubman and not a bad location either.
lurch, once again - nice shot! Living in the city has its perks with some great photo ops...and of course you've got the perfect model with your MCCa.
Alphawave - is that a Sparkling Silver with Silver? It looks really good - very subtle and understated. I really like the looks of your color choice, don't think I've ever seen it before. Nice gallery shots, wonderful location you've picked, as well.
Blackdelight - congrats on your new MINI
...but it's not a Clubman is it?

Hey Otra and KPWright..thanks for the compliments! I know this is primarily a pic thread so I'll keep it short. Pelle went for first roadtrip to Point Reyes National Seashore (Marin County California), unusually calm,clear day.

Sparkling Silver w/ Pure Silver roof/mirrors/rear pillars justa, Tuscan Gravity Leather, brushed aluminum dash. Goal was two-fold: Silver/silver since it's the Silver Anniversary of our marriage, and I was concerned about heat since I commute to the central valley (where it was 108 for three days straight last week) I wanted as light and bright materials as I could get. A few of the Mini's I've glimpsed inside have dark, and almost claustrophobic interiors (IMHO), even though I have happily discovered it's also an optical illusion, plenty of room for a big man and the wife to stretch out a little, we're NOT pressed shoulder to shoulder, and the cockpit feels much roomier than it appears. Interior to come, I promise.

Alphawave... Love the pics. My wife saw your pics and said that it maybe the color of her future Clubman. She was asking me earlier tonight about the color combo... so when she saw it she was very, very happy.
