R55 Show us your pictures of your R55 (Clubman) here
Here are the specs...
17" Motegi Racing SP10's
205/45/17 SS595 Federal's...excellent tires for the money.
Eibach Pro Kit
I have actually had this setup for about 6 weeks now so I can objectively say the ride is fantastic....just slightly stiffer then stock. Much less body roll. Originally I was going to add the front and rear sway bars, but I think I will save the money. The ride is so good now I just can't see spending the extra cash.

We recently traded in our R56
So far we're loving the clubman. We took a trip to Duluth with 3 adults, golf clubs (not the bag), 2 suitcases and various bags and pillows. Plenty of room and very comfortable.

JMH you might not even need new wheels really. Either make your stockies gloss black or if you are really brave match your red mirrors. THAT would look sick. Get rid of the amber in the front, either tint em red or black em out too

Tinting the amber lights are easy. I used VHT Night Shades. See this post for how I did it. The differences are dramatic and they still function as intended.

The results are like this:
BEFORE

AFTER

One of my customers just got his Midnight Black MCS Vert mirrors painted Chili Red. I found a set on eBay of primed mirror caps, so I'll be going that route next...to atleast see how it looks. I'll be painting them myself as well using the same method as I did my scuttles with Krylon Red.

Rattle canned parts usually imply a non professional result, but looking at the old truck in the Cars & Coffee shot of my Clubbie..that was rattle canned as were my lights and scuttles...with the right techniques and know how, those professional results are achievable.
There are reasons not to go with the Euro arches such as losing the functionality of the lights altogether which I realize are debatable as to how well they keep us visible anyways, but it's possible that JMH wants to retain some red instead of blacking it all out, like myself, where red and black are key.

I simply used 'rattle canned' in its literal meaning, no normative value placed on it. With the correct prep and execution a rattle can can result in quality.
I personally feel that if you want the arch lights to "disappear", the better solution is to actually remove them rather than hide them...but different strokes for different folks.
I had tinted sidelights on my R50 and it greatly diminished the light output. As such, both the euro arches and tinted lights are deemed illegal.

Wow cool to see everyone here
Up close here is what I have done so far. Both the Headlight Rings and the side markers were painted to match the body color. This metallic paint has bluish sparkles. The shop did a great job. Was unable to obtain the "S" logo sticker for the side markers so it was hand painted over the midnight black metallic. Does not look perfect but it has that Hand Painted look. (my wife hates it, I dig it). Then again, its her car

Looks great! I opted to go with PlastiDip for my headlight rings because the last MINI I had was Jet Black and the painted headlight rings looked like crap after a few thousand miles due to rock chips...one chip and chrome is exposed like a sore thumb! I'm 20,000 miles now and maintain my PlastiDip with Black Wow and still looks great.
Great job on the side markers. I opted to mask off the S and paint the rest red, but removing the mask was problematic and didn't end up in perfectly clean edges around the S either. Up close, it's not great..but from a few feet away it looks perfect, lol.

A two part post:
1. This was the first time I ever saw a Clubman in person. Not gonna lie, I was rather unimpressed, but we shouldn't judge a car when its parked right? These were atken at the 2008 Dallas Autoshow in April if I remember correctly.

2. My most recent update, a full stripe set from www.MINIgraphics.co.uk

What is killing me this moment. Still not sure if I like the look of the Rear License plate without the huge oem plastic holder frame. I had the dealer not install the rear holder. Back on Black ACDC? Not sure. The plate looks too big right now.
