Darkwillow, love your interior! what color is that?? That didnt even show up as an option when I built mine...
It is Lounge Leather Satellite Grey option
and it was new to the Convertible line last year in 2010, not an option for other lines, BUT when we ordered her in August, it showed up briefly as an option at the delaership, but still not on the website configurator. My MA put in the code and voila! Seeley came with the beautiful interior I wanted. Have looked on the 2012 build configurator now and it is still not an option for the Clubmans again. Go figure.
I SOOOOO almost went with blue instead of EG/Red on mine. It was really, really hard not to and seeing you pics kind of makes me wish I had.
It really helped the cop see me, in traffic, when he "radared" me at 84 mph. I did see him first, hit the brakes, punched it down a couple gears, & kept from getting caught at 90+. He did give me a break & wrote me for only 75 in a 65.
This is my wife's new BRG II Clubman S. We moved up from our 2008 Hot Chocolate Mini Cooper Clubman. We special ordered this car to her specs, and we took delivery on my wife's birthday at the end of October. My wife wanted a very specific leather interior color ,so we choose a aftermarket leather company through the dealer, and got the color of Palomino with black stitching. It is a better grade leather than the Lounge leather interior at a little better cost. We really like it. New Non-run flat tires, a custom painted
H & R rear sway bar, and gloss black powder coated roof bars go on next week. While the wheels are off the calipers will get painted with black G2 paint. We are also adding window tinting this week. So far we only have 350 miles and it is almost a month old.
We were very happy. There were two minor problems and the company fixed them immediately. The leather install is completely covered by warranty for the same amount of time that the MINI is under warranty.
That leather looks great! Do you know what company its from?
It was a local leather interior installer in our town.(not sure of the name ) The dealer has a good relationship with them for about a year. It really helps if someone comes to the dealer and they want a specific MINI in stock, but it does not have leather. We were just interested in a specific color and stitch style they did not have when you order a MINI. It met what we were looking for.
I mounted it to the floor on the left side of the boot with the speakers facing the passenger side. I will try to remember to post a picture when I get back to the states tomorrow.
