Your not the only one that had a bad experience at Peabody. They kept suggesting that i buy an automatic not a standard, even after telling him 3 times that i would only take a standard.

Who is your MA? Rich, Geovani?

Rich was a pleasure to work with and gets so excited when a new car comes in. He even worked late the night i picked mine up as we did not get there until after 8pm and left there about 9:45pm

Mark in service is a great guy also. One suggestion though if i may. Call them and make sure that they have ordered all the dealer installed accessories for you car. They did not order two items soon enough before the car came in (they went on back order) and that mean that I had to go back a week later when the parts came in to have them installed. Not a problem for me but still if they had been ordered earlier then i would not have had to wait.

What are you using the roof racks for?

Yeah I have a feeling Peabody is running off their "We're #1 MINI dealer in the USA". The sales guy was annoying and not what I'd call a "MINI driver/addict". It was a slam dunk sale that he dropped the ball on.

I'm working with Richard Tran. He's been great. Was able to answer every single one of my questions and provide me answers to things I never thought of asking about!!

Only 2 weeks...2...

 

Yeah, Rich is great. I keep in touch with him even though it has now been 6 weesk since i picked up my HC Clubman.

If you are there durring the day make sure Rich takes you down to meet Mark in service. He is anoter very knowledgeable person there.

 

Membership update:

I have not been remiss in my duties. Changes were made to NAM so that you cannot go back and edit any posts that are older than 30 days. Obviously, that rules out updating the membership in the original post. I have been advised by a moderator that the powers that be are trying to find a work around. I do not hold out a lot of hope that things will get fixed.

I'll do my best to keep up with the new members who sign in here but is going to be difficult to update the membership list and keep track of where the list is located.

Absolutely. I got it from the badge bazaar at This Thread, but I can't find the original right now.

 

This wait is driving me crazy. Maybe its the fact that I put a countdown timer on my computer that is ticking away little by little. I am hoping to receive my Mini the beginning of August. I ordered mine June 30th. I am debating on whether or not to change the interior to the brown leather. I love that rich dark leather but the added price is going to hurt. It looks so good though.
Any thoughts?

I have to agree with Lady G - who cares? Some people get it, some just don't. Also, there is a guy out here who's also a firefighter = his screename is "Mini Fireman". So you have a brother fireman out here!!!

 

I ordered "Teckel" on June 14th and he's at Southampton waiting to board his ship for his trip home. Expected delivery is around July 25th.

I think you'll be happy with whatever interior you pick but get what you want, it'll be worth it!

I've really enjoyed reading all your posts. I just put a deposit down on an HC/HC, Tuscan leather, Premium & Conv. packages, brown dash accents, etc. Told my delivery is end of September to October. Not sure I can wait. Glad I stumbled onto the Nam site an more importantly the HC club as the camaradarie is very much like the antique car site I belong to for my other baby. Plan to call my mini "Little Bean" as in coffee bean.

I got mine in Peabody because we had a bad experience at HC when we attempted to buy our first MINI there. I can tell you that I don't care for the sales manager at MOP, but my MA is great.

 

I know what you are saying to be true but I think most of the staff at HC has changed since you bought your first one though. HC actually responds to people now. Surprising what a change of personell can do.

But i digress.

Placed my order on the 9th, received an email from NAM yesterday about tracking my Mini. SO when do I get the Mini number to log in and track? The email said from my Advisor???

Yeah, your vehicle production number is on the order from the dealership. Your MA should have either given it to you, or can tell you. That's also what you'll need to do any tracking from ASK MINI.
