Even if I´m urgently waiting for my HC MCD arriving somewhere in September at least I would like to minimize my fever by joining your club?

 

I went to my dealer today to be disappointed at the amount they were going to offer me in trade for my Jetta, and there he was! My Wilbur Bud was still missing his HC shiftstick and e-brake, so he isn't quite ready. But I will be definitely picking him up next week. Yay!

 

yeah, that seems to be the norm. I don't know anyone that got a great offer for a trade in from MINI or BMW ...

 

My MINI arrived at the dealership yesterday after seven days at the VDC. MA is trying to prep it throught the service department this afternoon for a Saturday pickup. He's not sure if he can do it but I'd sure hate to waste another weekend without my baby. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

Well, y'all, I'm motoring!!!!

Picked 'er up yesterday at Flow MINI in Winston-Salem NC. Was sitting in the parking lot getting the Sirius activated and a thunderstorm blew in. Drove from Winston to Raleigh in intermittent rain. So, before I could show it off to my friends here, it got all scroady in the rain. Still, got here with big grins. Still trolling through the manual to find out all the things that can be set, etc, but the motoring future looks great!!!

He should come home with us this week - probably Thursday, but then he is going straight for his invisibra (or I guess his invisi-manzeer).

Has anyone installed a clear bra on a hot chocolate clubman AND have pics? I'm curious to see if the line is noticeable with the darker colors.

 

Yep I have it on mine! You really can't see it at all unless you are looking for it.

After looking at my car, my wife told me to get the entire bonnet covered - she has the same concern.

I am buying through Mni of the Main Line. I Like my MA, Amos, but the whole experience is getting me down. I know paying MSRP is part of the deal, but I would like to feel like I am winning at least once during this process. Although I was pleasently surprised by how high their lowball offer was on my car, I am still dealing with privately selling my car. They aren't throwing in mats, and they are holding firm on $1700 for the extended service contract. Heck the way this is going, they probably won't even fill my gas tank.

Should I get my HC Clubman with body color roof or with silver roof? I can't decide and all I see are pics of HC with silver roofs. Help!

 

Haven't you answered your own question? I never want to join the crowd so body colour would be an obvious choice for me!

 

Phil, you gave me a chuckle with your "invisa-mazeer"... And as for your lament about wanting to win "at least once" - you are: you are going to be driving that great MINI Clubman and very soon!

hooknew, definitely go for body colored roof. It rocks!

 

FWIW, i find either the silver or the black roof helps make the Clubman look a little more sleek. With a body-coloured roof, i find it tends to emphasize the arch of the roof rails, making it look a little top-heavy.

 

If you look in my gallery, you'll see pics of ours. The line is noticeable on ANY colour, but it doesn't make sense to me to have the entire bonnet covered because of it.

 

I'm so glad MINI gives us these options!

When I first saw the silver roof and halo, I thought it looked like it was unpainted, and just primer! I'm warming up to it now, little by little, but it just goes to show that everyone has their own preference!
