I am planning on taking it off tomorrow. I need to stop by the dealer tomorrow to see if they can fix the road noise coming from the clubdoor. I added pictures to my gallery.

We have a 2009 Clubman on order...in September production.

I was going to go with a BRG with silver roof/pillars/stripes, but the BRG used is not as dark as real BRG...and the pillars stood out and ruined the look of the car. After seeing a photo of a Hot Chocolate with black roof/pillars/stripes, I changed my mind the night before placing the final order!

Funny, we've had this car pre-ordered since June. I just missed out on the last production Clubman for July (for this dealer). We had to finalize our options a couple of weeks ago for the September production. MINI Canada has still not announced pricing for 2009, so we don't even know the base price or option pricing! Hopefully, it doesn't go up...much...or at all...

Okay. I'm a confessed Starbucks/espresso junkie. "Espresso" was already taken as a NC personalized tag, O/W I'd have it. When I had my shadow blue Passat, I found a metallic blue S-bux coffee mug (travel mug) which I "had" to have. So, I've got it bad.

But, under the heading of looking after the home team, Starbucks has just started selling a travel mug in what passes for Hot Chocolate. Actually they've got two, one in solid HC with narrow gold stripes at the bottom, and one in brown with the "Anniversary Blend" mermaid-type-person motif. So, if you've got it bad too, or you just like the notion of a car mug that matches your Clubman, head on out to your local Sbux and invest.

Apparently they added new features to the '09's

According to Wallenius Wihelmsen my MINI was scheduled to be on the ANIARA which departed southhamton 9/4/08
It showed my MINI arrived at the port 9/4/08 9:45 but never loaded

This morning they still claim ARIARA left port on 9/4/08
But my status changed to loaded on ARIARA 9/5/08 10:32

 

Mr. Ray... You went to the WW site and it says that your MINI is now aboard the ANIARA? I have a feeling that the website had a delay in being updated.

 

No mine and several others were loaded on 9/5/08 ~12+hours after the ship departed on 9/4/08

It was so secret even the owner doesn't know they got the package. Unless of course you are a mole sent here as a spy but you don't know it. I bet that's it!

ha ha ha... I believe all Clubmans must work together in mutual.... oh hell, I'm always out here. HC was my first choice. Wife vetoed it. Spy? Nah. As as for the ever vivacious Lady G... she's my friend. At least I was a few days ago.

As for free floor mats, I know I should have held out for the Bond Secret Package. They called my bluff. I know I blinked and it didn't happen.

I'm a newbie... ordered a HC/S/LLHC & cream white color line/brushed alloy/convenience/cold/premium/ and a mess of other things Clubman S, back on August 12th. Just found out yesterday I am on the Week 38 build! Should have my baby at the end of October (which seems to be when every major wonderful thing happens- my anniversary, my twins' birth, the purchase of our farm, etc). Woo Hoo!
