My wife is considering ordering a Hot Choc Clubman and spec'd it out with the Hot Choc interior. She also wants the matching E-brak and shifter boot in Hot Choc. Can someone let me know if this is factory installed or dealer installed? Also, same for the stripes (double bonnet/boot stripes).

Thanks!

Dealer installed. Tends to be a little spendy, especially if you go hog wild and add the HC multifunction wheel. Looks good though. Whatever you do, don't let her see Lady Godiva's gallery with the all (whoops) Tuscan Beige interior.

Congrats on your future Hot Chocolate Clubman! And welcome!

The Ebrake & boot, shifter & boot, and steering wheel are dealer installed options. It costs a pretty penny, so be prepared, LOL!

I have it in the Tuscan, and I think it was worth every penny. I LOVE how it ties everything together!

I can't answer you about the stripes, though I *think* it's dealer, too.

Thanks for the info. Pretty sure we are going to go with the "S". Sure is odd that those are dealer installed options. Lame. Oh well.

I'm still waiting for my HC Ebrake & boot, shifter & boot, and steering wheel, as they were an option I had requested, but then my MA went and got married in Jamaica and well, my other MA didn't know about that option, LOL. So I'm a waiting... but once I get it, I'll post pix of the interior- I LOVE the HC leather in my HC Clubbie. It's yummy.

must go eat chocolate now...

hmmm... think my clubbie has the power of suggestion over me

Yes, my wife (and I) are in love with the Hot Chocolate. She is having a tough time though letting go of her Purple Haze Convertible. She loves that car, but junior is in 1st grade now and not fitting behind the seat like he used to. Too much kicking mommy in the back of the seat.

Just curious. Has anybody installed the e-brake and shift boot leather themselves? I know there are some aftermarket styles through Redline that you can install yourself. Wonder if the factory ones would be just as easy?

Cool Charva! Our HC (We named him "Little Brown Jug" after Glenn Miller, I'm a Big Band Trombone Player) just left Southhampton today. 8 days to New York. Maybe I will have him before December...How long from the time yours landed in the States before Towne Mini got it?

Great idea!

You may have inspired me to name my new Clubbie "Old Brown Shoe" from a Beatles song!! I play guitar in a cover band and we play quite a few Beatles tunes,

Whaddya think?

I believe OBS sat on the dock for 3-4 days before it went to VDC. Then it was there 3-4 days before it got on a truck to Towne.

My MC HC Clubby was sched for week 45, is awaiting transport, hope he enjoys the cruise. Now just gotta find out what time his boat leaves. Strangely, when we ordered it, we didn't ask for the anthracite headliner, but it was on the order form, as a N/C option, and it shows on the website as having it. We did call on Monday (order done on Saturday) to add it, and to add the black roof (its body color) but were told it went into production already, so no changes. Curious to see if it actually has the antrhacite headliner as stated, and if I'm gonna be charged for it.

This is what it shows on the website,

HC Leather Cloth, MFSW, Roof in body color, Sport seats, Color Line Cream White, Interior surface English Oak, Auto AC, All season tires, Anthracite Headliner, Convenience Package, Cold Weather Package

Thanks!

It's the standard carbon black seats. I have the anthracite headliner and English Oak wood trim.

But the door trim, carpet and console are grey, aren't they?

If you are getting the auto trans you cannot get the HC steering wheel without giving up the paddle shifters. It dosen't tell you this on the configuration site.

Looks great Charva! I like the wood trim wheel with the oak dash.

Dont know if its just your pic but the door speakers trim rings and the rear cup holder on the console are supposed to be chrome if you have a chrome line interrior. Mine are being changed next week parts are in.

Congrats Charva!

But yeah, something is a bit avry with the doors. Looks like the Piano Black trim around the speaker as well as the large door "design" piece. Is that standard when you order the wood dash?

My MA told me that the english oak adds the piano black extended ring on the door. Now whether that supercedes the chrome on the speaker on the door, I have no idea. Guess I'll find out in a little while as well.
