It a Good Day the Drive the Vert Because

Got up early, it is sort of cool here and took the car the long way in, had the iPod adapter installed so made up a new playlist to listen to. A fine drive to work a great way to start the day.

Work is really busy these days so I drive to the train with the top down in the early cool of morning - and return after dark.

The drive home after dark with the stars out, the top down, and the iPod blasting is my favorite 30 minutes of the day.... I must say that night motoring with the top down is getting to be my favorite topless activity.

The temps are finally out of the 100s and only into the low-mid 90s

Can't wait for fall!

Drove top-down this morning on my way to the MINI BSSP Run

During the run, I drove with the top rolled back only b/c it looked like it would rain.. which it did After lunch, it cleared up and it was top down all the way home

Because the wife is out of town for the weekend, and I actually get to drive the MINI! When I was looking at MCSC's, the wife would constantly ask "why do we need a convertible?" Now, every time she drives home from work, the top is down.

We don't really have a set car that we drive regularly - when she gets up to go to work and I hear the MINI's garage door close while I'm still half asleep, I know I'm screwed.

It was such a nice day yesterday, temps in the 70's, sunny with a slight breeze, that I took my SO for a trip up through the Blue Ridge Parkway and proposed while we were there. I couldn't have asked for a more perfect setting or day, except that the MINI was in serious need of a bath beforehand. I love my MINI (and my fiancee, not in that order)!

Tomorrow is the last morning to drive the cabro, trading it for an S coupe just can not handle the awful view out the back with the top up and winter is coming. So tomorrow it's off too the country for the last time with it.

Tues. I pick up my new PW/S

The last few days have been warm, but today, was great. Too bad the Mrs. has the Cabrio...

I had all the windows & sunroof open, that's 1/3 a cabrio today.

Sorry to read that . I know the view can be troublesome. Maybe the next gen MC cabrios will have a better rear view? I'm able to put my MCC in the garage when not at work, so winter isn't a problem for me.

Good luck with your new MCS. Enjoy the drive tomorrow
