Hi all, I’m in really great hopes that this forum can shed some light in my issue.

I bought a used 2006 R52 Convertible Mini Cooper in which the A/C or Heater didn’t work.

I then went on to read forums and manuals and etc, and to get it fix I (DIY) did the below so far:

- Changed fuse to a new one
- Replaced blower motor fan
- Replaced resistor

I can also confirm that the control interface seems to work fine.

Even after all that there seems to be no noise, nothing happens when I turn the system to ON.

That said, I tested with a multimeter the plug to the fan and there is power there

The only thing I did NOT replace and seems to be what I might have to test is the Relay which is fixed to the fuse box and therefore I would have to replace the whole thing.

Would anyone be able to tell me if the plug would still get power (as it does) even with a bad/blown relay ? If not, the relay in my car would seem to be fine, so my next question would be; any educated guess on what I should do next or test next ?
