blown F05 on 2006 mcs

Just to clarify on those where F05 keeps blowing and somehow they trace it to a ps fan gone bad. When looking at the schem diagram F05 does not seem to control the power side of the fan but rather the relay coil. F41 is the fuse that controls the fan power circuit. So can someone explain why F05 would blow due to the ps fan?

or maybe a bad PS fan relay could cause the F05 to blow.

I think I may have the same problem here. But for me the fuse in question is F5 fusebox by the footwell. Although it's not blown I switch the 5 amp fuse to different slots and my tester lights up. A/c blows warm air, disconnected my p/s. still fuse f5 no light. After finding this fault I tried charging the ac and it worked for maybe a minute or two and again warm air :( please someone who had this and fixed share the how to's. thanks.

F5 is different from F05. F5 which is located in the driver's side footwell, is for the Instruments. F05 which is located in the engine bay driver's side is for the cooling fan relay for Stage 1 cooling. It also controls the relay for the PS fan. With a blown F05, the stage 1 cooling and PS fan will not work.
