Heater blower problems

Hello everyone this is my first post here as I have recently aquired an 06 Cooper S. I do have to say I quite enjoy driving it, but I am having an issue with no air coming out of the vents when I turn on the manual fan control.
I have replaced the blower motor already which was delightful but it seems like it was unnecessary as that made no difference. I can actually make the blower spin by feeding it power from the radio so I know it works.
The blower motor resistor also seems to be fine and from what I have seen in wiring diagrams is that it is completely bypassed when the fan speed is on high but still that does nothing for me.
I have tried unplugging the power plug that feeds the manual fan switch and verifying I am getting power, which I am, but when I put a jumper from the power to the blower still nothing happens (this is the same blower pin I can jump to the radio that works).
I have checked my fuses and they are good.
It seems to me that the blower is not getting enough current from it's power pin. Also from what I can tell is there is a relay that powers the blower but it is not a serviceable relay.
So here I am wondering what to try next. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Does it make any noise? It is possible that something got up into the cage fan and it is jammed. Remove the cabin filter check it for cleanliness (most likely it will need to be changed) if it doesn't have a filter installed that can increase the chances that something got into the cage fan and it is jammed. A jammed fan can be from Foreign Objects or from the fan being just stuck, you may want to just pull the fan and see if you can rotate the cage by hand, this is also a great time to stick a vacuum in there and clean out any crap that got sucked up into the fan housing.

HOWEVER ... there are ways to test... it is a uncomfortable task working under the dash ... you can run a set of power leads directly to the fan motor connector pins and test for operation (what is nice is you can run the fan in both directions it is a DC motor) if the fan spins like this the next step is testing the fan resister (I find the best way to do this is bypass it and jump the around the resister and see if you have fan spin again) if you do <ding, ding, ding, ding!> replace the resister. If it still doesn't trace the wires back to the relay and the fuse. (If I remember the fuse is F31 and the relay is next to it)

Replacement parts: the fan runs from $120.00 to $850.00 depending on where and what brand you buy, the resister from $15.00 to $100.00

Best of Luck.

Motor On!

I'm sorry I don't believe you read all my original post. I've done all these things and I can jump the new fan off and it spins just fine. There are no foreign objects in the fan either as I just replaced it with a new one and made sure to check the housing.

Did you try replacing the relay? Have you bypassed the switch to check the circuit coming from the fuse? It’s just a matter of isolating each junction to determine where the power block is occurring. You mentioned using the manual ****. Is this an auto climate system? If so there may be an issue there?

No it's the manual control setup. I have bypassed the switch and I can make the fan spin with a different power source. I am getting 12v to the switch but it will not spin the fan.
I also cannot locate the relay. I believe it is in the driver side foot well but I am unable to find it.

If there is power going into the switch but not out to the fan then the switch is bad.
