Heater Blower ?

When I put the climate control to auto my fan is running on high, and stays there. Does anyone know how to adjust this to a lower setting?

Just press the fan speed button on the left to turn it down. I think this knocks you out of Auto. In theory the car will lower the fan speed once it gets to the temp. you set, but I know in my gf's Mercedes, the Auto setting is like a tornado, and never seems to blow at a lower speed unless you adjust the speed and knock it out of auto mode.

The temp control and air vent selection is still in 'auto' mode when you adjust the fan speed manually. Selecting a particular vent (floor, dash, 'defrost') will still leave the temperature in auto mode. Setting the temp to either extreme (HI or LO) stops auto temp control.

You are correct but you have just taken the climate control out of auto function, which defeats the purpose of the function. Thanks
