Homelink function?

I bought and installed a second hand OEM Homelink mirror for my '06 R52 last summer. I just took the car out of winter storage and I don't think the homelink is working (we also moved in that time so it may also be a programming issue?. I can't remember how it worked last summer - but it did work.

To try to trouble shoot this...
- The light to the left of the buttons never lights up.
- Not when I push the any of the buttons once to try to open the garage door.
- Nor does it light up when trying to clear out the previous programming by holding down the 1st and 3rd buttons until the light flashes rapidly (no flashing as it never lights
- I tried to clear out the codes by holding the right and left buttons to "forget" the old garage codes but no success. (see above)

Like I said it worked last year, but not this year. I didn't remember if the light worked last year.

Any thoughts?

TIA - Joe

I’m guessing that, with the light not working when pressing any of the buttons, there may not be power to it or the homelink itself isn’t working.

Is there a wiring diagram anywhere for these cars?
