Mini convertible wind dam/shield?

Saw a convertible Mini with a air dam behind the back seat to stop the wind blowing forward on the front passengers. This one had some storage also, and took up all the back seat. Any one have any info on these, found nothing on the MiniUsa.com site?

Here's the link to the R52 one: http://www.shopminiusa.com/PRODUCT/3...RED-FLAG-PRINT

The R57 (2009 and newer) is a different part, but similar. They really do help with the wind at high speed.

I found one on e-bay a year or so ago. If you find one from an idividual, be sure the case comes with it. The case fits flat in the bottom of the boot. Use it once, you'll never go motoring without it again.

Used mine once and now it spends most of it's time in the case in my hall closet (daughter uses it occasionally).

Different strokes for different folks

Indeed. Extremes of the spectrum. Might the OP have any hope of relieving you of yours beyond any objections from your daughter?

Not really I'm a bit of a hoarder, I very rarely seem to get rid of anything I buy. I still have parts and accessories for vehicles I haven't owned in 25 years.

Bought two of eBay first was stolen from my porch, second got here last week. It has not moved from its location, I love it and so does the wife. You can get nice used ones for ~$250 Well worth it when it is colder too.
