Wife's '06 Cabrio's wipers went nuts yesterday. Parks w/blades right in her face, sometimes works sometimes not. IF they work, they'll quit after a minute & only an ignition off/on cures the problem... for a short while.

One comment she found was about a bad wiper motor ground but I can't get to the motor without maybe doing more harm than good to check that.

There are two wiper relays under the hood; neither wants to budge - I thought maybe I could swap them, see if that helps?

Are they 'locked' in place or should finger pressure be enough to pull them from their sockets? Other relays pull out easily, as expected.

I have pliers of course but plastic and I tend to have a misunderstanding anytime I resort to brute force.
