R52 Good Deal?? what should i do?????
Good Deal?? what should i do?????
I currently own a 2002 MINI COOPER with 163,500 miles on it and i got it two years ago. As of today i found a MINI COOPER S CONVERTIBLE with every option that i want in it. its the perfect color blue, has xenon headlights... just perfect in every single way. this MCSC has 93,000 miles on it and the guy is asking $10,789 for it. what do you think about this deal. personally i think this is a great deal for what you get. i need another opinion though. also i am not sure how exactly i would pay for it? should i sell my MINI with 163,500 miles on it. what would i get for it? then i need to come up with the difference inorder to get the other MINI of my dreams!! CAN ANYONE POINT ME IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION AND DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY IDEA HOW I COULD MAKE/ GET SOME EXTRA CASH FOR THIS SWEET CAR THAT I LOVE?????? PLEASE GUIDE ME!!!! thank you all fellow MINI owners/enthusiasts!!!

Kelly Blue book, you can search the value of your car and the one you want to buy.... as for extra cash- we all want that

You have two problems here, what your car is worth of course will be significantly less than what you'll have to pay for the convertible (you didn't say what year it was) and then who are you going to sell your car to with 163K on it? It may seem to be perfect in every way to you and run like a dream, but with all the possible choices a car buyer has, why would they spring for your high mileage car? For only one reason - that it's majorly cheap!
So, assuming you get enough to pay off your car (do you owe or is it clear title?) by selling it, you'll need to fund the difference, either by getting a loan or by coming up with the cash. if you don't have the cash or can't get a loan, then your only options are selling something else you own, getting a better job, or getting an extra job.
