hey has anyone seen the new mini cabrio? i recently checked out a magizine, (cant recall the name of it) and i saw mini convertable.. not sure if i like it. But i'll buy the magizine tonight and post a pic of it.

i dont like how the antenna is near the windshield

 

Yeah, that is sort of goofy. It would have been nicer if the antenna was integrated into the windshield, like the new VW Bug Cabrio.

 

I saw a VW bug convertible last night. I hate to say if but to me the bug makes a lot better convertible than the MINI. The bug looked great even with the top up.

 

I can't wait to tool around town in a drop top MINI!

 

I tried to find some pics that showed a better shot of the back of the convertable. Is the back window glass or plastic?

In 2000 I owned a M Roadster that had the plastic covering for the window, and it was a major pain in the rear to keep clear. I had to use a paste type cleaner on the plastic to keep it clear and from cracking.

I hope BMW doesn't chump out and use plastic
