HRE Custom Wheels, what color or finish to order

HRE 890 R SERIES 18" X 7.5

I Love the black finish!!! opinions please are welcome.

these rims cost $1700 each. i want to make sure i am ordering the right ones.

BTW, they can custom make the rims same color of my car.

wow, thats a subjective question, and a waste of money. If you've got $8k to drop on wheels, I can interest you in about 1000 other things to do with your mini that would be better spent.

If you can afford them why not!

Yeah...Some of us have done 1000 other things, and had 100 other wheels.

Besides...once you've had BBS, HRE, Fikse, Works and the like there is only one more mountain to climb....

yes, a bit, nothing crazy. Cross coilovers are among the better choices out there, unless you're a hardcore track junkie

GT-N's have been copied til the cows come home. There are so many Civic's with them out there it makes the real thing kind of tough to swallow if you are paying MSRP

Nice paint job! So I guess the XXR 006 is a replica of these then, huh?

Isn't that with pretty much every Volk wheel in the line?

Here is my setup since Volk was brought up, GT-N 18x7.5" tires are Pirelli PZero Nero 215/35/18

Suspension, H&R Coils

To each their own, while I do love some of the HRE designs, they are notoriously bad wheels.

I've heard of many other issues besides their strength but at 2:40 AM I can't bring myself to look it up.

along with the fact that they are incredibly expensive for a heavy and weak wheel, some models also suffer from rainwater collecting inside the barrel and throwing the wheel off balance. For almost $6,000 you get bragging rights(on the amount you spent) and a decent-to-good looking wheel.

I'm not trying to say anything against the owners of these wheels but it just doesn't add up! There are tons of wheels that are stronger, lighter and better looking for the same or considerably less money.

I can't give any references on the water fact because of my work firewall(amazingly in my favor NAM isn't blocked)

very few two piece wheels are light. the HRE C20's are however......18lbs in 18x7.5 I think?
