Tire HELP! ASAP!

ok my run flat tire is flat and i am wanting to switch to regular tires, can i get like one or two regular tires for my front wheels and keep the back wheels runflats? Because i have a quote for runflats for one Kumho RF tire to be installed and balanced would be around $205. But I can buy 2 regular tires for a little more than that. What should i do?

Not a good idea to mix, even front to back. Especially tires with such different construction as run flats and 'normal'. You know, I ordered from tirerack.com about this time of day once and had my tires the next afternoon... Depending where you live...

I went to ultra high performance summer only F1's and even they were only $139 each...

I'd go with normal tires all around. Best thing I did to my MINI.

I would never mix runflats with regular

The problem you'll have is the runflats sidewall is so much stiffer than a regular tire. They will react differently around corners.

Go with one or the other. The regular tires are waaaay cheaper

Well, I have Toyo Proxy4's on my 18's. I like them but they are expensive. About $120 a tire
I have Falken 912 all seasons on my 17's. I like them allot and there about $70 a tire

My 17's are actually 205/40/17 I went a little lower profile so I wouldn't have fitment issues with my coilovers.

I know plenty of people that are running a 215/ 45 tho so you should be fine.
I bought my Falkens from a local place in Utah called Wheel Werks. You might be able to find them on Tire Rack or any tire store probably.

I ditched my run flats. It was best move I ever made. I recommend you ditch all 4. You will be much happier.

Thanks everyone! The info really helped! I decided to get the 205/45-17 General Exclaim UHP. They had the best tredwear rating for the cheapest price (380 tw for $187 inc shipping).
