Good DEALS on 2006 MINIs w 100K Warranty!!

I just spoke to my MA at Tom Bush Mini in Jacksonville Florida. They are putting miles on the 2006 models that remain on the lot and will be seling all 06's with an 100K warranty (don't know if it is all factory or part factory and part aftermarket; but 100k is 100k if all is covered!).
Happy motoring and mini shopping!
By the way, Tom Bush has taken EXCELLENT care of our 2005 MCSC! So nice to have competent and professional service.
Cheers

Is this a factory incentive? I am picking up my new Mini on monday, but the dealer didn't mention anything about longer warranty, just the 3/36...

It will be a while before you have to use it, but read the fine print on the extended warranty. Even if you get an extended warranty from the dealer, it will not be as inclusive as the standard 50k warranty.

I'm sure it will cover all the big drivetrain stuff, but parts like trim pieces, decorative items, and perhaps even some of the electronics like switches and the radio likely won't be covered during the extended period.

Response from Mini NA. Not sure how others are getting these warranties.

Hi Sean,

Thanks for writing MINI. We appreciate your interest in our cars.

At this time, MINI has no plans to offer a 100,000 mile MINI New Vehicle Limited Warranty on our remaining new 2006 models. I do apologize for any confusion.

If there are further questions I can assist with, please feel free to drop me an e-mail. I will be happy to lend a hand.

LET’S MOTOR.

The warranty is 4 years 50,000 miles
the 3/36 is for the free maintenance. oil change, service etc..(which is b/s anyway since the first oil change according to them is at about 10 - 12000 miles....)

The warranty is for a MININEXT MINI

The MININEXT program is a certified used car program where the cars undergo a strict inspection to become certified. the 100k warranty is not as inclusive as the original factory warranty but is still a very worthy warranty. So unfortunatley the new vehicles will not have this warranty. Also it is possible that not all MINI dealers in the states are utilizing this program. Hope this helps!!

I bet there is a $100 or $200 deductible on the warranty for every claim...
