Probably not cheap, nor easy, the lights are a completely new setup for 05, the reverse lights are integrated into the lights, the light in the center of the bumper is for the rear fogs. Good luck!

LOL. That's my '04. Have you tried looking up the part numbers? Are you going to order new ones or buy them used? I believe there is documentation for both.

haha thanks for understanding (couldnt find any pics of mine's read end), the setup looks great btw

i found this on my mini...
http://www.myminiparts.com/proddetai...d=MMBLK&cat=15

so i was thinking i may be able to purchase that to replace the clear reverse light on my 03, then somehow, whether new or used, find a set of red and clear tails. Once i figure out the wiring it would essentially have the reverse lights in the tails. to be quite honest with you though, i just want to get rid of the orange in my tails without doing some sort of smoke out kit. any ideas?

Contact your dealer. MINIUSA offers the '05 taillights as an accessory upgrade for the earlier cars - it's in the accessory catalog. I presume they did this so that owners of early cars in states where the old style rear fogs (the top lenses of the old taillights) are illegal could convert to the newer style and get the bumper mounted rear fog.

Glad to help. I hadn't seen these until recently, and I don't like the accessory albino ones from MINI. These are perfect, imho, and they are a direct swap for the red/amber stockers. Kind of expensive since they're factory, but looking (and installing) factory is worthwhile sometimes.

Oh, and I saw a set on a car at AMVIV. Even had him hit the turn signals to see what they look like lit up. They look good, and the orange shows up really well when the turn signal is on.

It is a factory MINI part, and you could get with NAM discount from Classic MINI. The part number is 63210305538.
