"no fewer than two times"....are you kidding me? 6 months, 7600 miles, and I look back more than 5 (but less than 10) times as I walk away from her every day.

Is there a 12-step program for this somewhere? "Hello, I'm Wendy...I'm hopelessly in love with my MCSC...."

It's OK to look!

I'm fortunate, because I park my car in a spot where I walk past it about 10 times a day. It's by the main office,so other employees get to admire it! I get about three compliments and questions a week;a great ego booster!

yes. i have the same prob. i also park at the fewest cars parked at the very end and add a hope and a pray that 'noone better scratch my mini'(tho some loonies has scratched[3] my mini already). and if ive no choice but to park beside lots of cars, my heart beats fast and im worried sick that when i get back to my mini they scratched their name all over her.

Oh yah, Ive got it bad. I have to park her in a parking deck but I drive to the top to park her away from the commoners who dont respect cars. She is right under a bright light and I cant help looking back several times as I walk to the elevator. I even had a guy laugh at me because of it the other day!

I'm the first in the lot at work - lock the door and walk away. I here a psst, psst - I know no one is there, but I look anyway. Sometimes I walk a few steps backwards. Will the voices ever stop?

I'm with you on that one...!!!

Since I purchase my Cooper S I guess you could say it has become a disease. I even feel bad leaving it for extended periods of time. When I get out and walk away I'm always thinking to myself WoW, that mini is actually mine!

I have this one bad!

My driveway is in front of my bedroom window. When I wake up during the night I open the blinds to check that the little red light is flashing on the steerling column stalk. Then I go back to bed. I always look at my Mini when I walk away at least 2 or 3 times. I have had an MCS since early 2002 and I am still in love with the car. I'm on my 3rd one now and I will always own a Mini. They are just awesome little cars.

Mini Ownership makes you smile.

Yup. Happens all the time.

I wonder if I video taped others that walk by if they too will stop or double take a look at my MINI?

Yah, I am pretty much the worst at this.... I have even walked away from the car and "dropped my pen" so I can crouch low and check out my new swaybar from across the parking lot. I'm good for atleast 2-3 walking away head turners a day. When we are at home, we actually bungy cord the door open that leads out of the laundry room to the garage. Then everytime I walk down the hallway... I get a sweet view of the car without even leaving the house.
People come over to our house for dinner or whatever...They say "why is your garage door always open?" I tell them "Yah thats just the MINIs room, he must of left his bedroom door open".
