I made sure I was given a loaner...

Is your car under warrenty?
When ever there is something wrong with my car I take it to the dealer and they will provide me with a loaner car. That is one way to not REALLY be with out your enjoyed mini experience.

So, are they going to at least reimburse you for the rental?

I hear you, Driving just isn't the same...

So have they figured out the mystery leak?
I had something similar a little bit ago. My car started leaking from the front right side as well. It was leaking after the car Sat for a bit in my garage, usually over night. I took it to the dealership and they took my car for three days, I was given a loaner since it was work done under warranty. It's strange though, if they are able to sell you a mini, they should be able to grant you a loaner when something is wrong with their vehicle.

Anyway, it ended up being a crack in the water pump, I got the car back and STILL the next morning I noticed a smaller leak still occurring. I took it back in and the found a slight leak coming from a busted thermostat gasket. I'm not sure if you having the same issues, but it doesn't hurt to have them check those areas while they have it, If they haven't located the leak yet.

Good Luck! and hang in there!
