Do you have a stock antenna or did you replace it?

I have found the stock CD player in Roxy to have to best reception out of any car radio that I have ever had. Although my home planet has yet to try to contact me, I would almost bet that if the planets were correctly aligned they'd get through

.. do your house plants try to contact you often?

..actually, mine is pretty good - even in hilly Seattle where reception is usually eratic, the MINI's radio pulls in signals nicely ...

My radio is OK, except it was awfull at Deals Gap. Too many mountains. I guess that is why many "locals" have those massive antennae on their trucks!

Oh, if the home planet does contact you, tell them I said Hi!

I only listen to FM, and the stations in my area must have strong signals. I can have my antenna off and I still pick up most stations well. I've got the Alta stubby, and I really like the look- much better than the long stock antenna.

Radio....radio....Is that the thing I hear when I'm changing CDs?

Actually, mine is pretty good. Not quite as strong as my last car, but I can still pick up 98.1 out of Colorado Springs, which is a good 80 miles south of where I am.

I think. tho you'll have to check you radio manual.. that there is a settign for local only stations, my last radio had this,, if you have this feature turned on it will only pick up the absolutly strongest signals. and may f*up others, I would check your manual and see if you're on that setting... also make sure you don't have the nav settign in teh radio on the proper setting for your car. Good luck.

If I ignore calls from my home plants they retaliate this time of year and have dandelion parties in my yard.
