Almost all the engine sounds in the movie are digital.

It's cool in typed conversation, AIM, and such. We all type fast and grammar goes to hell in a handbasket...but it's your signature, man! Show some pride...do it right
So what kind of horn did they dub in? IMO the 'beep-beep' suits the MINI better than the horn in the R53. Holy crap! People probably expect an F250 or something!
After seein this thread yesterday, I went and popped in The Italian Job. Did anybody notice Spiderman? I believe it's been they hi-jack the armored truck with all the cold and the explosives are going off. People are panicing and for a split second you see somebody in a Spiderman costume.

Please tell me someone else noticed this too?!?
Oh, yea, that's Spidey!
I wonder why his Spider Sense didn't warn him that the road was just about to blow up?
Sort of lends a bit of poignant realism to the movie--Spiderman's just a scared cartoon character, MINI Coopers are real! (Yea, this heist would work...lol).
While we're on this topic, does anyone know where there's a definitive list of specifications for "The Italian Job" cars? I know they're off-spec, but what would be the easiest way to replicate them?
I've watched that scene a hundred times and wondered what he was doing there, and came to assume that he is a guy from either Disneryland, or Universal, or wherever, on his lunch break.
Here's a quote from page 2:
Only 32 Minis were used for filming, though Witt says they "could have used several more 'cause we wrecked a few." Everything the Minis do in this film is for real; they benefited from no extra visual effects to improve on the Mini's own acting. The cars themselves were only slightly modified, requiring mainly suspension adjustments for elaborate jumps; "softer or harder, depending on the stunt," says Witt.
The 2 Mini Cooper (the white and the blue) have the sound of JCW tuning kit!
The JCW tuning kit for Mini Cooper (non S): new box air filter and new exhaust system.

Zip
As I heard it, the director (or producer) is a big Spiderman fan and slips him in somewhere in every movie he makes
