R50/53 Italian Job poster
>>What is on it?
>>The MINI's are one of the main focus points. Without them, there wouldn't be much of a movie.
>>Oh well.
>>
Oh well is right. How anyone is supposed to guess this is an action/heist/caper/chase film is beyond me. Other than the double yellow line (which I would have thought was only a design element if I didn't know what the movie's about), there's no hint these actors do anything but stand around.

I went to the theater about a week ago to see Holes- great movie- I saw it with my kids
The posters were there and free. I took a big stack of them and handed them out at a local mini gathering to stir up interest in going to the Italian Job if we have a Dealer sponsored premiere showing- I have an indy blue/white MCS with aero grille and I want to play with a red and white in aero form. We can drive around the theater in a tight formation- see if anyone notices.
The poster measures 13.25 x 19.5 "
On a black to grey background stand seven of the major characters in perspective. Running from top to bottom are two painted yellow stripes like racing stripes vs skids. The slogan at the top left is "Get in. Get out. Get even."
Mark Wahlberg, Charlize Theron and Edward Norton get top billing.
There are no minis. not even the shadow of one. Shucks. Here it is

Mini Cooper Italian Job (2003) Poster
Does anyone know where I could get one of these, or does anyone have one and not want it anymore?
I just started working at Paramount Pictures and the only things people hang on their walls are movie posters for Paramount movies... I thought the perfect thing to put up would be an "Italian Job" poster featuring the minis, since I love mine so much.
I've googled for hours and the only ones I could find were the ones people posted on here in 2003...
It's the one where the three MCS were running down the subway stairs....

Fun fact, one of the three Mini's in the movie was a base Cooper, only two carried the S badge. :P

Thanks I saw that one.. am looking for the full size 27 x 40 with the minis :(
The best I found was an 11 x 17 Chinese version on amazon... but still holding out hope to find the one I'm looking for... may be fruitless.

The poster with the 3 Coopers racing down the steps was created by BMW marketing and is a 'faux' movie poster. Note the credits at the bottom where MINI Cooper stars as 'The MINI Cooper'. I worked with BMW at the time and I have one of these posters. I don't know how rare they are, though.
Have you tried moviestore.com? ... Not sure if they're still around, but I picked up a pair of sweet Seven Samurai and Yojimbo movie posters from them 4-5 years ago (Kurosawa/Toshiro Mifune fan
).
There's an old guy that usually sells old movie posters at a few of the comic book/anime conventions I go to once in awhile, but he never has any of the old or new Italian Job posters.

Okay guys, there have been a ton of PMs to me about buying the posters. I have sold one already and figured to be fair I would put the other up on eBay.

well people are offering more money so why would I turn that down?
Who agrees to that sort of behavior?
Blubelle...you obviously asked about the poster first. Newsacredcow...you obviously replied to blubelle that you were willing to sell. And seeing as you already sold one you set the precedent for having no reasonable excuse to renege on that offer.
" I have sold one already and figured to be fair I would put the other up on eBay. " Honestly, does anyone else cringe when they read that? To be fair? You mean to be greedy. I don't know what you were taught way back in primary school but first come, first serve seems about as fair as you can get in this situation. (Unless you mean to be fair to an orphanage you run, of which receives the extra money you make off of the second poster. What? No orphanage? I'm shocked.)
Then this! "well people are offering more money so why would I turn that down?"
Because you are a person of integrity...because you associate the free market as a forum for modesty and compassion while maintaining the appropriate profit margin...because you want to sleep better at night...
And YOU ChilliMiniPA...I honestly thought someone else would have posted how incorrigible such a statement was. But you agree? Where did you all learn your manners and forget the idea that the world is not you, you, you?
It really is no wonder the US is in such a financial mess if individually, none of you can resist the urge to make a few extra dollars.
Are you the same people who won't get a job that is "beneath" them but will cash a welfare check every month?
What's the deal here? Am I the crazy one? Bluebelle...you should stand up for yourself a bit stronger. Maybe not as brash as I chose to but honestly, you got the short end here.
And just some FYI, I've never posted on a forum before in my life. I joined this one just to say my piece.
So, thank you for forcing a change of my luddite ways. This was refreshing.
