I know which conrfigurator you're talking about. It was floating around on the 'net a few months ago. I downloaded it, but couldn't get it copied to CD correctly, so I was never able to play around with it. I'm sure there are some of the people on here who have it.

Anyone?? Bueller???

The configurator file is a zipped 41mb iso file. After I unzipped the file (220 mb) I was able to burn it to cd using Nero Burning Rom, It supports this type of format and once burned to disc it will run in any computer.

This sounds counter intuiative but you need to burn the ISO file to the CD as an image. Do this and throw it into your CD-ROM drive and then you will be good to go.

I posted this the other day. It's the links to files and instructions. It's near the center of the page.

You can run the ISO image file on a PC without having to burn a CD with a shareware CD Emulator. I forget which one I used, but if you search for "CD Emulator" on downloads.com or tucows.com, you should come up with several hits.

I'm sorry I don't know where to find the ISO file, now.

I think you need to set your monitor res to 1024x768 for the configurator to display properly, but I may be mistaken about that. It's been awhile, and I've slept since then.

Good luck,
JS

if you follow that link you can download the ISO image. then, as suggested, unzip the image and burn to CD using Nero or using an emulator.

Yes, 1024x768 or better screen resolution is required. and, if you are running windows, you are going to have to hide the task bar at that resolution to see everyting at the bottom of the screen. 1280x768 would probably be better.

it pretty easy and a VERY handy tool.
