WooHoo!!! I bought my MINI today!!!
Today I bought my MC!!!
It had EVERYTHING that I wanted AND it's the color that I fell in love with at first sight: HYPER BLUE!!!
I'll have actual pictures to post by next weekend...the bonnet stripes need to be put on and then I'm having an authorized shop install the "ClearBra" system. I *still* remember the pain of finding the first paintchip ding when I first bought my Camry and I certainly did NOT want to experience THAT again!
I have to give a LOT of thanks to everyone here on NAM...I spent many hours reading various threads as part of my research and I'm VERY confident in my MINI choice.
I bought my MINI at Checkered Flag MINI in Virginia Beach and my Motoring Advisor, Simon B. is absolutely the MOST helpful *salesperson* that I have EVER had the pleasure of meeting! I have to admit that I requested a LOT of information on the various MINIs in stock by phone & email and Simon was always quick to provide the information. I have absolutely no problem whatsoever recommending Simon B. & Checkered Flag MINI to anyone in the Hampton Roads/NC/Eastern Shore area who is looking to purchase a MINI.
Silly as it may sound, one of the first things I did was head to my office to pickup my Ty Beanie Baby, Wrinkles, which is an English Bulldog pup! Wrinkles has proudly taken up residence on the center of the luggage compartment covershelf.
Future "mods" include:
Tinted windows
Bumper plate protector
Glove box organizer
iPod adapter
Shift **** in Hyper Blue
6-CD changer
Time to go read the Owner's Manual & enjoy a cup of hot chocolate with Milky Way flavoring...mmmmmm, yummy!
