Well after seven weeks of waiting, wife and I brought our new baby home tonight. Ordered her the last of October. Traded in our '04 Cooper (Cosmos Black) on our new MCS in Astro Black.

Options: Xenons, Aero Kit, Chrono Package, Chrome Line Interior, Cold Weather Combo #3 (heated seats et al.), Body Color Roof, Rear Fog Light, On-Board Computer, Multi-Function Steering Wheel, Anthracite Headliner.

First impressions: AWESOME! What a difference in power between these two cars! This little thing pulls like a freight train from any gear. LOVE the S/C wine too!

Transmissions: Getrag feels much better than the old five-speed.

We also got the Xenons...well worth the money.

Aero Kit: Totally cool. Makes it look like a little Bull Dog (just like they say!)

Chrono Package...another PLUS.

Brought it home and *immediately* took the stock tires/wheels off and replaced them with a set of 18" Konigs wearing 215/35's that I had waiting in the garage.

Oh, under the tree for her...Palo Uber exhaust, Palo Uber light bar (and 4 Hella 500's). The mods begin!

Forgot to mention this: We ordered the car with an Anthracite Dash (and door panels naturally) but it was manufactured with the silver metal looking dash. (And the order was correct, I saw the paperwork). Wasn't real happy about the mistake, but dealer through in a set of carpeted mats to make us happy.

I also have a 2006 AB MCS with the aero kit and black ASA AR-1 wheels.
I would not trade the AB for any oher color. If you are going to have a
dark car it might as well be black!!

Hopefully you didn't get charged for the Anthracite because it is way more expensive than $90 carpeted floor mats. I would hope your dealer would throw in free installation on an Anthracite Dash & Door Panels to make it up to you

Dunno' where you are, but 18" in the winter are going to require a kidney belt aren't they? I assume they're not rf's, which I'm sure helps alot.

Not looking forward to New England roads after the winter with our stock 17" rf's.
