I fit 4 unmounted wheels and tires into my MCS

Wheels: two in the passenger seat, one behind the passenger seat, and one above the driver's side rear seat.
Tires: two in the boot, two above the passenger's side rear seat.

I'll let the pics do the rest of the talking.

And a picture of the car, for good measure:

Its posts like these that help convince my parents that a MINI is not too small for college. Bravo on your color choice, looks great!

ha, even i think a mini is to small for college, and am going to try and get something with a little more space (and worth a lot less as my friends in college tell me cars dont stand a lot of chance in college)

still that is pretty amazing, and convinces me i could def fit four mounted wheeels with tires in mine

wow! that's amazing work. ive fit a set (wheels/tires mounted) in the
boot with no issues in the past but didn't think 8 individual pieces would
fit.

It's true. Not only will it work with 4 tires and rims, but it will work with 4 tires and 4 additional mounted wheels with a very similar packing system to snM3's!

Wow. How far did you have to drive with all of that stuffed into your Mini?

Looks like there is even space for about 3 more if you felt the need for some spares

mini_muscle- moved twice with just the MINI, I know how to pack but it was never too small

It's not too small, espcially if you pack wisely.

Great to know they'll fit! I've got to do this in two days when my tires arrive.

On my 1200 mile roundtrip journey to Peru, IN for the 05 Divisional championship, we fit 2 adults, a jack, sprayer, 2 helmets, Tire warmer bags, sockets/impact wrench and 8 wheels and tires mounted. lol Never again. It took me 2 hours to figure out how to do it. We actually had to use a torque wrench to hold one of the wheels up(facing forward with the tire portion sitting towards the inside of a wheel) to shut the boot. They were all 16x6.5 SSR Comps with one set of 215/40/16 V710's and one set of Hoosier 205/45/16 DOT Rain Radials.

I should have taken pics I guess. :-)

Seats slightly forward, 3 wheels sideways on right on top of folded down seats with last one facing backwards in the rear, a 4th facing front to back in the boot with tire inside rear facing wheel. On the left side, I think we had two side by side and one crammed on top(can't remember for sure) and then the 4th facing front to back on the left side of the boot. An Anthracite headliner was much appreciated with potential tire dirt that would have otherwise made the light grey headliner look very very dirty. :-)

Nice Hyper Blue w/ Bonnet stripes! Looks similar to mine except for the wheels and headlights... and it appears you don't have the chromed instruments. ANYway, very nice MINI. :-)
Oh yeah, I fit a set of four in the back of mine too - standing up on their treads though. :-)

Thanks for the compliments, guys. Took me about 45 mins. to fit everything in.

dix - I had to drive to school (~ 7 mi.) and then to the tire shop (~21 mi.)
and then back home (~ 15 mi). I just drove slowly and carefully, and managed to avoid getting any scratches or scuff marks inside.

kenchan and valcom111t - yes, that is a '01 740i sport beside the MINI, and the car in the garage is an MZ4 roadster. I don't have any pics of the 7er, but here are some MZ4 pics: www.suneal.net/mz4. The roady is my dad's weekend ride, and the 7 is my mom's car.

OasisT- you beat me. It truly is amazing what you can fit into these cars.

DaveTinNY - thanks, although I prefer black. My dad selected this car on the lot. Had I ordered it, the specs would be similar to yours, except with a black exterior. I'm not complaining, though - Hyper Blue is a great color.
