Stubbie antenna or ...
Thinking about a new antenna.
I've read about the s2000 one, is it best to buy it from a Honda dealer?
Also the one from Alta looks nice.
Being aluminum does it offer anything over the plastic/rubber kind
Best to go 4" or stubbie?
Thanks

I'm quite pleased with the S2000, you can pick it up at any Honda Dealer or even one of the online parts suppliers occasionally have them for even cheaper once in a while. Great functionallity, my ONLY gripe is occasionally I wish it was angled back about 20 deg. but that is minor and ocasional.

I got a S2000 off a seller here in the Marketplace. I think it was like $11 shipped. Looks great and works better than the OEM.

better.

I like my Alta stubby. Just the right size and good reception for $30 + shipping.
I actually like OutMotoring's stubby better and it's $5 bucks cheaper. I am probably buying a couple for X-mas gifts for a few college friends who have boring stock Mini Coopers.

as far as reception goes
So...
from what I'm seeing it does not matter what the antenna is made of
as far as reception goes

I can't help you with prices in the US. I was quoted AUD$100 (about USD$80) !!!
But my dad has a Merc and his dealer 'liberated' one for me off a demo car when my dad mentioned it to him. So it ended up costing me a bottle of wine as a thankyou....
MGCMan - do the cats have birds feet Ohio? haha... :P

Nope, I thought about changing mine until someone mentioned the remote control car look. I like the OEM one.

Doesn't the OEM one make it look like a remote controlled car?
I had 5 year old boy (no joke), look at my car and say, "I like your toy car." He really thought it was toy car.
