What is my MINI worth?
I have a 2004 Cooper S with a Cooper Works Kit. The car has 24,000 miles, an Alta intake and hose, a Remus exhause (OEM JCW exhaust goes with it), PIAA wheels with Toyo T1's tires (non run flat's). I also have a Kenwood Sirius tuner hooked into the head unit. No sunroof, no auto climate control. Multi function wheel, cruise, leatherette, sport package, and PIAA driving lights. CPR / Black. The sticker when new with the JCW kit was $32,000.00
I'm looking for an approximate value now.
Thanks,
Bob

tradein or private sale?
Aftermarket stereo is worthless
My fairly recent experience in this area with same car, 04, JCW with more JCW bits says ... and don't choke plz
Just a fair guess
Tradein ... 18K
Private ... 22K if you can find someone

You almost always get more in a private sale. But, remember in CT the trade-in will give you a sales tax deduction.
For most dealers, aftermarket items like the exhaust, wheels, etc...are useless if not detrimental.

I'd sell any (if any) aftermarket items individually and return the car as close to stock as possible. That stuff is worthless when it comes to the value of the car.
Very true, revert to stock, sell for $18-20k, then sell your after market stuff for another $1-2k

Ya, I think it's a bit painful, but returning the car to stock and selling your aftermarket parts separately is likely to net you the most money.
Come about March, 07 ... price will take a dive.
