Anyone have any idea, in order, the most popular to least popular color combo of the new MINI Cooper? (Including roof color.)

Have not seen many CW. We have IB/W and CW/CW.

Just my guess but the Chilli Red/White seems to be the most popular. I saw a Gold/Black today at the dealer and all I have to say is that's one butt ugly color.

I saw the new Gold for the MC in person, didn't like it.
IMO Pure Silver is the best color. Although I must say there are a few awesome colors for the MC, like that burgundy, dunno what it's called.

 

so they ditched silk green, velvet red, and pepper white and picked up GOLD?!?! that ugly cadillac gold??

wat other colors did they pic up? any pics of these new ones?

does anyone on this site have a Pepper White?? i havent seen anyone wit one!

I don't see too many PS/B, DS/B on the other hand, seems quite popular.

yup ive got DS/Black, its nice and easy on the eyes! a spectatcular color!

 

I am surprised that there are no indi blue/indi blue Minis.

 

I finally saw a DS mini at a meet here in So Cal and I think it looks awesome. I wanted a classic look and got BRG/W, I don't see many other Mini's like mine.

 

I've got the IB/IB combo and I love it. The dark windows really set off the trim, I ve added the Aero grills and it really changed the appearance of the car. It is not the "happy smiling" car. It is a racer

 

I've got the last of the VR/W I suppose...

Here in SoCal, the Silver's rule. I know that the majority of SCMM'ers have DS or PS. Next up is BRG, then the blue's and CR. Black, SG, LY and VR are very uncommon out/down here.

Mix and match on roof colors too, but mostly white.

 

You don't QUITE have the last VR/W Cooper... mine is somewhere on the Atlantic right now, heading for the west coast and they're still being made AFAIK though I don't know if new orders are still being taken...

VR is a great, classy color. I started out set on BRG but ended up deciding between PW and VR... don't see many of either around here (Seattle). We have more silvers than anything else.

I think the Pepper white w/blk roof is the most classy of all. I bought the Indi Blue w/ white top. They had a Pepper white on the lot, but it had faulty windows. I read a response on this thread concerning the dropping of pepper white for 03'. That's a myth...saw one two days ago at the dealership.

Agree that's not the last VR. Mine is also on a ship heading toward the US. Due in NY on the 22nd. Also had heart set on BRG until foundout could not get the G/B leather interior with sports seats. Saw lots and lots of CR here in MD. Also IB and BRG. No VR seen or heard of in this area, so decided I'd start a trend. Agree its a classy color.

 

Wait....they discontinued pepper white and velvet red, too? I thought it was just the silk green. And yeah they picked up the gold and candy blue....which I have yet to see, but I hear is quite nauseating.

And YES the gold is just terrible.

And in my area (east SIIIIIIDE) the most frequent combos are chili red/white and indie blue/white. Pure silver/black is not as common as I would have thought it would be. Which makes me :smile: .

 

Pepper does seem to be a very low-count color. I just picked up my Pepper/Black this week, and the dealer said that out of 200+ cars sold, they have only sold 3 Peppers.

However, they did say that both the Pepper and the Velvet are still available, if your dealer hasn't finished their allocation for this period. So you all still have the chance to go buy yourself a proper MINI, a Pepper White!

I've never heard a confirmation of the rumor that they are dropping velvet red. And in fact over on MINI2 they claim that pepper white will soon be available for the MCS. Also I think that candy blue color is intended for the convertable mini.

PW/B Here! Haven't seen another one on the road. In my neighborhood, we have a CR, IB, and Black.

 

I'm really invested in this topic, since I haven't ordered my Mini yet. I'm supposed to be working, but I spend most of my time on MINIUSA using the configurator and surfing the web for pics of different color combos. :smile:

A friend of mine in NJ just picked up his MCS: BRG/W.

Another guy I know has a BRG/W. It seems to be really popular.

I've also seen an Indi B/W, a Velvet Red/B, a Chili Red/W and a Dark Silver/Black around town.

Anyone out there have Jet black? Any opininions on metallic vs. non-metallic paint, looks-wise?

 

Dealer says PW is a popular color across the big pond, but is not popular here. I like being different.
