Moss still has these listed on their website, but the price has risen to $149.95. Like others here I put this purchase off, because I thought it was a little pricey last summer when they were selling for $80! -now I regret it.

I recently bought one, and even though they have it listed, I've been told its on backorder

The vendors raising prices & profiteering makes me not want to buy anything from them. Great way to treat your loyal customers.

Its not that. They must now buy them from overseas and ship them here and then still turn some small profit

I respectfully disagree with you. Yes they need to make a profit & yes they have to use another supplier & ship them. They had to ship the other ones too. Possibly their costs are up, but to me it seems like they are taking advantage of this situation.

I'm with you Crash, the same day it was announced that they were no longer avail in the states, the prices almost tripled from $66 to $184.

There is a big difference, however, between shipping from New Jersey and shipping from Canada or the UK.

Supply and demand. I was going to order one in August. I couldn't decide if a bit of storage was worth $89.95 from Moss. Then I thought about it again in mid Oct. By then it was $119.95 and "going up". Still I wasn't sure and didn't order. At $149.95 I really don't think I need one. Such a shame - greed. I have it, you want it, so you are at my mercy!
