Mine came in today with a note and refund, saying they were out of the liner. No biggie, I will pick up some and cut it myself. Tomorrow, to the install!

Wow. I bought mine right from BMW just a few weeks ago. Guess I was smart/lucky.

Got mine from Mini of Pittsburgh this past Friday, less the liner for 49 bucks, not bad thought. We have material at work that will work just as well.

Moss had mine on backorder......until today! I just got an email saying that they shipped it out. I'm glad I didn't buy one from that Canadian place.

I ordered one from Moss last evening and had a UPS tracking number by this morning. There must be a few left... $90 + $15 shipping

Moss probably had an absolute lock on some shelves they knew were enroute.

Well Well Well, I guess which vendor does matter

Just got off the phone with MOSS.

Moss: "Oh, we are not offering those for sale anymore"
Me: "Really, guy on NAM just ordered one last night and it shipped today"
Moss after putting me on hold to ask a question: "Oh, we have 22 in stock and I can sell you one"
Me: Great let's do it.
Moss: "That'll be $144.XX"
Me: "How did you come up with that figure?"
Moss: "$119.95 plus tax and shipping"
Me: "Website says $89.95"
Moss after putting me on hold again to ask a question: "Sorry about that, it will be $111.xx. Someone has not updated the website"
Me: Great, lets do it.

This is what I expected the first time I went through this. I guess there is a Parcel Tray for Tommy!

I just called Moss to confirm that the order I placed this morning for two parcel trays will be filled. The service rep said that they'd go out tomorrow, and the website price of $89.95 would be honored. I guess I got my order in before the price hike.

It turns out that my order from the 11th *was* cancelled because I had selected "no backorders", and they were temporarily out-of-stock at the moment I placed the order on the 11th. If I had authorized backorders, my original order would have been filled when they got the new stock in. Oh well, it looks like the tray for our two cars should be here in the next few days.

The dash parts in my 2006 Cooper Cabrio are panther black and from what I can tell, the parcel shelf is gray. Has anyone installed one of these in a cabrio with the black dash? Think I can paint it black with Krylon Fusion?

I think the colour in the Moss photo is a little bit off. I'm pretty sure the Euro parcel tray is the same black as your factory panel.

I don't know if the factory knee panels come in different colours, or if they're all the same dark grey/black. I'm waiting on my new car, and I know the carpet, door panels, and rear side panels are blue, but I don't know about the top of the dashboard or the knee panel. I guess if the factory panel in my car is blue, and the replacement from Moss is black, I'll either find a way to dye the new one blue or put it up for sale here.

I have installed two parcel shelves in two different MINIs. You can call it black or gray if that's how you see it, but it looks dark blue to me! (Admittedly, my eyesight has yet to win any awards. ) Anyway, it'll match what's already there regardless of what color you see it as.

The shelf liner is definately overpriced, but it IS mighty nice.

Proud to have finally reached 5th gear!!!

I'm glad I got mine when I did from Moss, at the old price of $89 + shipping. Even at $89, I thought it was a very overpriced piece of plastic. The shelf is VERY handy to have, and the Mini can use all the storage space it can get. I'm not sure what color to call the shelf, but it matched the color on my Mini's dash so I'm happy.

Well maybe it's because I have a Liquid Yellow Cabrio, but my dash pieces are very black. I saw a parcel shelf installed in a friend's Cabrio with the gray dash pieces and it matched perfectly. But I don't think it will match mine. Anyone out there have a Cooper Cabrio with black interior plastics?

My parcel shelf from Moss arrived today with the rubber liner. Yeah. Hopefully everyone can get their shelf without losing their shirts first.

I bought the last 20 of them. I'll hang on to them until around Christmas time and then double my money! Ha ha ha!

Just kidding. . . . I'll probably triple my money!

Unbelievable, well not really as I was quoted $184 from our local dealer when I went looking to pick HMS one up last week. But, still I bought my latest one through Classic 3 months ago at $66 for everything

I'm glad some people are able to still get them from Moss! Seriously.

I agree the pricing for a piece of plastic is ridiculous but unfortunately our hands are tied. I wish I could simply give them away. They are a great, functional mod for every MINI. Why they were never standard in North American MINIs I'll never understand.

Anyway, congratulations to those who've found one!

We'll have these last three at Coopersport until they're gone. And, when there gone, I believe they'll be gone forever

Cheers,
Jason.
