Cute Mini story
So I have a new Manager at work (RVP) and on her last visit we had a scheduled sales call. I told her I would drive (of course!!). She was on her cell phone with another VP while we were walking to the car (she had no idea what I drive) and when we got to the car (she was still on the phone) she exclaimed "it's a Mini Cooper, I get to ride in a Mini Cooper"!!!
Maybe my next post will be "My Mini secured that promotion at work because I have such good taste in cars"! HA HA.

mini2di4, how did she enjoy her ride? Did you take her on some twisty roads?
Of topic, but just wondering if the "that's all I need" part of your signature is a reference to either "caddyshack" or "the jerk"?

Its fun to have a car that brings your friends such great joy as well. I've never owned a car that attracts so much attention from my passengers, everytime I someone is riding with me we spend the whole time talking about MINIs.

I can empathize with how the MINI can help you get brownie points at work. My boss is an old brit, and when I told him I had got a MINI cooper he was ecstatic. Turns out his first car was a mini cooper, which he drove around many a summer in europe with in the '60s. Looks like buying a MINI is also a good career move
I got that response when my boss saw me driving my dad's M3 while waiting for my MINI to arrive. Then when I told her I was going to Indiana to pick it up, she asked if I was flying home. When I looked like this
and said, "No, I'm DRIVING it back with me" she said, "Oh, I figured you could just put it in the seat next to you."
