MINI-Motorsport is starting to do some sponsorship, and I'd like to get a really trick logo to put on the cars. I also need something that can fit on a brake caliper (hint).

If I could get some nice designs, we may be able to work out something for cool hot rod MINI parts!

It would be most excellent if the designs could be posted here for the community to provide feedback on.

Thanks!

Randy

Maybe you could give us an idea of what you're looking for.

Do you want a graphics type logo or do you want it to have the text "MINI-Motorsport" in it as well? That's a lot of letters to fit on a brake caliper

Randy-
I did some designs for my dad's company. Tell me what you want and I can work something for you. If you don't like it, no big deal. Send me a PM and we will talk about it.

Randy, do you want more of a window-decal type logo or something smaller to put on calipers? or both? Also what kindof things are you looking for... small and subtle or big and noticeable?

Randy,

Are there any elements you'd like to incorporate? For example your red "mule"? Something about why you started the business, the fact that like beer, etc....

I'm by no means talented with the pen (or in this case, the mouse) but I have some ideas about your business that I'd like to share.

I go to your website and business because you're not a "me too" shop. Anyone can get a copy of Frontpage and put a site on the internet that sells stuff. You USE the products you sell, you test them and beat them. You tell us what you think and you sell that which your informed opinion passes!

Frankly, and sadly most of the responses I get from other online Mini product providers is something like this: "We sell the item you're looking for. It's $129.99 plus shiping and it's in stock. Thank you for contacting yetanotherminisite.com". Great, you just told me what I already knew!

So I think you need a great logo that also emphasizes those postive aspects of your business.

-J

Wow - wealth of good folks here on MCO.

I need something that would look good and be recognizable on the side of a car at an autocross, as well as something that would fit on the side of a caliper.

For the car at least, I'd like soething that uses the name or website, so it actually directs people to MINI-Motorsport.

Show me what you got in mind - small, big, loud, subtle, I have no real firm ideas yet.

I threw a couple together real quick for you, something simple and I was mainly thinking for the calipers...

a .com could easily be added. I changed the font and colors to make each part of MINI-Motorsport to stand out more.

and maybe for a black caliper:

For the caliper, you could just have a MMS. Clean and simple. Just pick a nice font and it will be easy to cnc into an alum. red caliper. As for the car, go with some kind of checkered flag theme. It always means winning. Or flames if you want to be more of a bad ***. I would draw something up, but you really don't want that. You are better off with the ideas. Hope that helps. I’ll take a sway bar or a pulley.

Here are some examples of the previous image with the checkers. I can make the checkers smaller or larger, and change the color of them...

The checkers make it difficult to read. I liked the first one (with no checks).
