R50/53 I need a logo
There are some very nice submissions here!
Puffs <--- Also a designer. I have a bit of freelance to finish up, but if I snag some free time I will give it a go as well. I don't have anywhere to host pics though so I would have to send to someone. Just to add to the pot of creative brainstorm stew.
I compliment your complimentaries Phobol. I like your first one. It has that support the econoBOX feeling to it.
Coopernation; very sharp. Funny, I like your upper left the best as it has the most depth and is tight. Nice forshortening. All would be great for the webpage, but tough for a brake calipre no?
The Stop sign for the brakes is a great idea Cooperspeed! If you close the gaps on some of your fonts I think your logos inner text will punch more. I might change the font to something chunkier too. You are almost there, keep playing.
All great stuff, we have quite a talented crew here with the eye for design. Figures since we all picked the Mini!

Red White and Black all contrast against each other in that format....
Randy, looks like you will have a hard decision ahead of you...
I would keep in mind, that a picture of a MINI on a MINI could be too much.
But it is a damn Good Logo for promotional material, banners and websites.
Good Luck!
And guys, you're all awesome.... I would like to see what you'd do with MightyMiniZ but I don't want to hijack this thread!

A lot of good ideas! I myself am no artist, but since everybody's a critic
, I figured I'd throw in my $.02.
For a tee-shirt silkscreen or a drinking mug print, I like COOPERation's top-left the best:

However, for an on-car vinyl, I think you need something simpler and more instantly identifiable. My two favorites are almeda's:

(though I think it would help to visually distinguish the words, coloring "mini" differently from "motorsport", allowing for easier memorization of the URL)
and Phobol's:

(I really like Phobol's other two, with the "inverse video" type effect; however, the left edge of the boxes hamper the visibility of the important hyphen of the URL...)
As a potential *customer* of Randy's products, I would NOT want a URL on what I buy, as I don't like being a driving billboard (I always take off dealer's license plate frames when I buy cars, for example). In addition, if the text that IS displayed hints enough at the URL, it's all good. (For example, you don't see ".com" on Brembo calipers, but you can guess that their homepage is http://www.brembo.com).
And speaking of calipers, I think you need a logo that is wide and short. If the logo has letters, they need to be big enough to be easily visible from a decent distance. Remove the "www.mini-motorsports.com" from Phobol's logo (leaving the dot-curve and stylized "MMS"
, and I think you have a winner!
