Is anyone out there keeping a scrapbook of all the paraphernalia (order form, ship reservations, ship observations (if you got one you were lucky), test reports, pictures, window sticker, etc.

If so, any unusual ideas to share?

Yes ...

I think the idea itself is unusual (or is it wierd?)

Try to persuade the dealer to take pics of the car being unloaded:

I do. Some find it odd. But I take exceptional care of my vehicles. Always have. Their my babies. Just like a scrapbook for your kids. Don't really have anything unusal that you already mentioned. Although I do try to get ahold of the more interesting and entertaining ads for the MINI, eg., Barf Bag, How to Motor a MINI ad, etc.
Cheers,

Sadie has a baby book with photos of her at most everywhere special she's been. Everyone thinks I'm nuts. Who cares?

I even went down to the docks and got a picture of her in the maternity ward before she was taken to the dealer:

No unusual ideas regarding the actual scrapbooking, but I have taken to keeping a motoring cam in his glovebox---just a little disposable thing so I'm always at the ready to capture the next scrapbook photo. That's how he was able to have his picture taken with Yogi Bear.

Cheers,

Louie has a baby book. Just a photo album from Walgreens. And I do keep my 35mm camera in the glove box to capture those unusual pics. First time I've ever done this with a car
Happy Motoring

Embarrassingly, I admit to scrapbooking MINI.
My wife has two scrapbooks, one for each of our 2 year old twins....I have two scrapbooks, one for MINIhune, and the other for all things MINI

I'm currently working with my MA to get the Velvet Red paint swatch from the dealer

I don't have a scrapbook, per se, it's more like a history binder. I have one for my 325i too, detailing the maintenance, modifications, and owner history. My MINI's binder is similar, with all the financial paperwork, the order form, modification how-to's and performance parts reciepts

Take one 2" 3 ring binder
get a bunch of those clear paperholders and a bunch of dividers
sort into a structure, label accordingly (i.e. The Order, Delivery, Performance mods, Maintenance, Financial, Insurance, Registration, etc...)

Motor-on!
Ryan
