Loaners

If I buy a car from an out of town ( or out of state dealer ), will I still get good service committment and a loaner from my local dealer, or will I get the lesser treatment compared with those who bought cars locally ?

Thanks,
floyd

The only one who can answer that question is your local dealer. Loaner policies are set by the dealer not by MINIUSA.

What he said....
I bought my car used, at a non MINI dealer....My local dealer treats me like if I bought the car there...If they keep the car overnight, I get a loaner...

Others don't even get loaners from the dealer they bought the car from...

Service work work would probably be okay. The techs probably don't check to see where the MINI was purchased and then perform a different level of service based on that.

But getting little rattles and other minor things done will probably be difficult because you'll need to convince the SA first.... and he/she will probably check to see if you're one of their customers.

You're best bet is to build a good relationship with the people at the dealer you want to work with.

shouldn't matter. I bought my other car from a different dealer
but my local dealer gives me loners...although Enterprise pos ChevyCobalt..
or maybe if i bought the car locally perhaps they would've
lent me a S2000 for the day lol... oh well.

No, the servicing dealer shouldn't matter.
