Minis make better toys than Hummers...

So, I'm in McDonald's today and the wife orders a Happy Meal, so she can give my son the toy...

It's a Hummer. They have like 9 different ones, and the freaking box is ad text, basically written for the parent and not the kids. Puh-leeze.

So, I'm thinking... Minis would make for MUCH better Happy Meal toys than Hummers. Kids LOVE my car. Everywhere I go, they're looking at it, smiling and walking up to it. They're fun and cute and fast...

::: Cue "Mission Impossible" theme song :::

Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to ask every time you go into McDonald's, Wendy's or Burger King, "So, when are you guys gonna do a Mini Cooper happy meal? Huh? Huh? Huh? the kids'll love 'em!"

All this could have been avoided is you had seen "Supersize Me". I've only eaten McDonalds once in the 20 months since I've seen it, and it wasn't by choice

Yeah, I'm sure the pimple-faced teen working the register talks to corporate on a regular basis.

Don't bug the teens working, they could care less. However, you could try e-mailing the corporate websites with that suggestion. Screw the kids, I'd be one happy meal eating mo'fo.

Arnold has several, but he's still trying to get Maria to give him another one.

General Motors (Hummer) paid McDonald's for the privilege. If you want this to happen, encourage BSSP (MINI's ad agency) to run a similar campaign.

I'd hate to see BMW/Mini Cooper be associated with fast food. But the kids who are eating Happy Meals today are tomorrow's buyers of automobiles. Start them young and hit them wherever they go.

OH my god, you are sooo on it! I was eating salads w/chicken and egg mcmuffin's 5 days a wk a few yrs back. And I could not figure out why I was exhausted after work every day. This is the girl who skates, bikes, climbs, plays tennis, etc. I gained 15 pounds in 4 mo's. Then I watched "Supersize me". No more fast food. 15 pounds went byby and my energy level returned to normal. Go figure. Do people realize how what we put in our bodies affects our general health? What we put in our kids bodies? I see so many over weight children at the hospital. No one would ever think you could get injuried lifting a kid. Well, the way we grow them these days. It happens. NO more fast food! No more fast food! No more fast food. Well, except for El pollo loco. I eat their chicken breast minus the skin. but thats it.

I think between fast food, dvd's, and video games (aka babysitters) we have done our kids a disservice. Its unfortunate. Sign of the times.

I don't really hate any one else's auto let alone a hummer . Takes too much energy. But I do dislike Mickey D's!

My younger son noted that Mini doesn't need to advertise on TV because they're selling well. He's got a point and he's 9 yrs old. Mini's aren't for everyone, nor are Hummers.

I think Arnold would have serious trouble trying to squeeze those muscles (what he has left) into a Mini.

I don't think I've been to a fast food restaurant since the movie came out!

I didn't see the movie, but I did see an interview with a college student who only ate off the McDonalds 99 cent menu for a year. He lost 30 pounds.
