It appears that there continually pops up threads of cars of types of vehicles people really hate whether they be individual models like the H2 or the entire class of all SUVs ... and lets not forget the Aztec bashing, the Porsche Bashing, and anything else I missed.

NOTE: these are only Opinions ... nothing more. They are not intended to offend anyone's choice of vehicle since most opinions aren't worth a cup of coffee

 

--It seems like owners of the old camry seem to be driving with a extra hint of jerk dabbed on. They cut people off, they try to muscle into lanes, they never say thank you and are sometimes downright dangerous. Curious, are these Camry owners so intent on destroying their cars to get the new model that they turn on their demolition derby modes?

It used to be I hated civic drivers for acting like this, but it seems the old Camry is the new civic. How odd.

Edit: I've narrowed my focus to the Prius itself.. and not it's owners/drivers.. just to keep things less "personal"..

Do most hybrids have to look like hybrids?... for once I applaud domestic manufacturers.. at least they take a normal car and hybrid-ize it.. Toyota and Honda have to make their own unique (read: ugly) version.. aside from the Accord, which has remained the same.

Also, Every review of the Prius I've read has mentioned something along the lines of the car driving like warm oatmeal... completely without any sign of life.. The interior and exterior looks like crap and it doesn't even get that great of milage!.. there's deisels that get better milage than that thing..

I HATE the Monte Carlo. It's the worst car I ever had the misfortune of driving.

 

Not a fan of muscle cars here. I also get queezy when I see a "new" bubble-shaped Prius (looks like a mini-Aztek) and really lose it around the Scion xA. That said, I have acquaintances to own these monstrocities and I bite my tongue out of respect for them.

 

Do they have to be cars that have made it to US? There is a slew of old Soviet block era vehicles that I could go on about for a while...

I hate Escalades and anything of monsterous porportions. Even before I had the MINI you could never see around or through them in a parking lot. I just love it when you go out of the way to park away from everything and come out to find one of these beasts parked beside the MINI.

 

I hate the Scion xB. Whoever designed it should get some creative design award because it is the fugliest auto on the planet

dang it, i can't think of a car to bash... whenever i see an ugly car or
a car that i hate, i ignore it and pitty the driver for his/her existence
so can't remember wat i saw.

I hate:

1. Full size SUV's with one person in it. (usually women in GMC Yukon)
2. Jacked up trucks/SUV's that are so high, you couldn't carry or tow anything in them if you wanted to. Doing a good job getting 5 mpg (or was that gpm).
3. Driving while talking on the cell phone.
4. People who hold their brakes all the way through a corner, even if they enter it at creeping speeds.

 

aztec. so so ugly. i used to kind of forgive my neighbor for having an old brown one, he is old and clueless and i figured he didn't really pick it out so much as walk into the dealer and say i need your small wagon thing whatever it is.

then he sold it.

When my wife & I first got married she had a FIAT 124, hated it, so what do I do, I bought her a FIAT 2000 same car with upgrades to make it even better, really hated it (fix it again Tony). Now in all fairness I really didn't have to work on it any more then I had to wrench on all my Little British Cars, but it was just something about FIAT's I hated

 

I hate:

~ Pontiac Aztec (how could it be left off this list?)
~ old (hell, 'any') Volvos
~ SUVs because they are hard to see around, they waste gas, and drivers of them seem to think they are not part of the regular way of doing things on the road (lessee, anything else?!)
~Cadillac Escalade with the open back. Just what we all need - a hyper-expensive luxury pickup truck
~Toyota Corollas because they are very often in my way
~just about any commercial vehicle for the same reason
~Acura TLs get my vote as the vehicle most likely to cut me off
~any Infinity because they are so blah, despite being expensive
~Ford Crown Vics because they _all_ look like unmarked police cars

I know there are others, but that's a start. =o)

I can't stand MINIs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The crazy little things keep suprising me, usually coming out of nowhere going around a bend. Light turns green and the car disappears!!! Zig zaging all over the place, not braking for off ramps! Hello cars aren't supposed to be able to do that! And that supercharger whine is just maddening!

Don't even get me started on the drivers smilling and waving at each other!
