Buick Rendezvous. Maybe a decent car (who knows...not me!!) but w/ the same tragic, pathetic design flaw as the 350Z. Merging body lines w/ wrap around tail lights......no, no, no, no!!!!! This is a big mistake!!

 

Sorry any owners of the...Subaru B9 Tribeca!!! Saw one today - it actually made the other cars around it uglier too. Such a "me too!" looking SUV. Very odd front grill.

 

I forgot about the Caddy Escalade with the office building headlights.

The points about the 350Z and Buick tailights is good. But why did Buick draw a circle around the license plate that results in the red lens coming to an extreme point?

Chows, seems we all like Ferraris. But what about TVRs?

BUT, I am hugely disappointed that the P-Car bashers are in hiding. Usually the driver school track day people love to talk about how they bashed some P-car POS.

Remember this "Pontiac" that GM foisted upon us? I think it was a Daewoo. Any way I had a CRX as pictured and I was talking to a guy at a party. He was all interested in my car, asking lots of questions because he wanted to get one. I talked about the amazing handling and spirited performance until he said

"or I might get a Pontiac Lemans...they look about the same..."

I had a Honda CRX si back in the mid 80's. It was a great car & way ahead of it's time. It was also the best selling & most reliable car around so what did Honda do? They totally redesigned it & took away it's great handling (aka POS Honda del Sol) & after 2 or so years it dissappeared .

I would also like to nominate the new VW Beetle (Scion xB is fugliest but Beetles are a close 2nd). I have always thought they were hideous. Old VW's were cool, new VW's=YAK

 

Pontiac Lemans There's nothing "Lemans" about it...talk about soiling the name of a legendary race!

What about the K cars? If you've never seen the Dodge Aries comericial spoof, go to youtube.com and search for "Dodge Aries" it should be the first video on the list... highly recommended

Regarding Pontiacs, I believe I have read the entire Pontiac Division of GM is in trouble. They just might get rid of it.

 

Good riddance, I don't think many people miss Oldsmobile and Plymouth either, I woundn't mind seeing Buick go either... but then again, what cars would we have to hate on?

 

The Honda Element is another Tupperware eyesore. And I'm not crazy about the miniature minivan profile of the Civic hatchback.

In general, what's with the peeled back headlight look? Some cars, this detail goes halfway back the fenders.

 

I find this car so entirely offensive. Whats with the back end?!



And the only thing worse than a PT Cruiser.... a PT Cruiser CONVERTIBLE

 

I see a heck of a lot of Pontiacs on the road. If they are in financial trouble it is purely GM financial mismanagement.
