Okay, assuming I do get one of the wonderful machines, I'm wondering about two things: roofs and stripes.

I really like the dark silver. To go with it I originally thought black roof, mirrors, and alloy wheels. But I'm seeing a lot of contrasts in the gallery shots. So, I'm beginning to think about the white roof/mirrors (especially with the 100+ plus summers we have). Opinions of the miniopoly???

Also, I don't plan to race ( at least officially ) but what is the opinion concerning racing stripes? Yes. or No.

i origonally was gettin a dark silver but got to impatient on waiting for it...
i would go with black roof on dark silver, i think there would be to much contrast with a white roof, if you are ordering your mini, you also have the option of body color, which is what i ordered, but like i said i got to impatient, the dark silver with dark silver roof is a very sexy car for i have seen it, stripes are up to you, i personaly would not do stripes of the color of the roof is body color, because the stripes would look incomplete, i have black stripes on a puresilver, with black roof it looks good, but i am going to be getting my roof painted same color as body, then removing the stripes, also i would not do different stripes than the roof, if roof is black do black stripes, if roof is white do white stripes, if roof is body color no stripes, unless you do the aftermarket full car stripe....

 

In my opinion...the DS/B is one of, if not THE, toughest color combos for the MCS. They just look sooo sweet!

 

DS/B is very nice, but the classic PS/B is also awesome. Black stripes w/ either work very well.

 

The better combo for a dark silver in my opinion is: white roof/lapis blue/no stripes.

I totally agree, plus, i like the bonnett stripes a lot.
