Mirror Cover Question

After seeing pictures of the Mini GP, I really like the white, grey, and red contrast that you get with the red mirror covers. Does anyone know if they're just standard Chili Red mirror covers? And if so, where is the best place to get ahold of a set? Thanks!

I think that the easiest and cheapest way to go would be this:

Call the dealer or search online for the color code. Go to a local body shop with your white caps. Ask them to paint them chili red! It should be less than 50 bucks. Someone here on NAM got a par of white ones brand new, and then painted them all for under $80.

My local auto paint store, (and yours I'm sure), will mix you a pressurized can of Chili Red paint for about $15. Something as small as the mirror covers can be painted perfectly using this method.

You can paint the ones you have or get a set of any color and cheaply and easily make them RED!!

My next logical question would be then, how do you take them off! . I don't even have my car yet, but I never really tinkered with them on my last one. I wouls assume they just pry off (carefully of course).

That would be me. I didn't get brand new ones however. I bought them though the marketplace on here. One was brand new, the other had been on a car. They are liquid yellow and have been on the car since a couple of days before AMVIV.

If you are like me, after you break a couple clips on the first mirror cover, you'll be a pro when you go to remove the mirror from the other side. . .
