No manual, how to use computer?

I recently purchased a used 2004 MC. But it didnt come with a manual. I have ordered one but was wondering, how you operate the on board computer? When I bought it the display showed how many miles left to empty. Now it shows the outside temperature. Don't know what I did to change it but I wish I could get it back to miles left. What else will it tell me?

Thanks, love driving again.

There is a little button on top of the turn signal stalk that toggles through the OBC functions.

There is a button on the direction signal stalk (left side of steering wheel) with a computer monitor logo. Press the button to cycle through the different OBC (On Board Computer) functions. If you want a manual in .pdf, PM me with an e-mail address. (The .pdf version of the manual that I have is for the 2005 models, but it should be pretty close to the 2004s.)

meg beat my post - quicker on the draw....

http://www.motoringfile.com/ has pdf versions of the manual for every year except 2006.

thank you all very much. I wonder what displays I have available. Can't wait to leave the office and wander through the computer options. Thanks again

It shows you your average consumption, your consumption, your average speed, how many miles you have left on a tank of gas, outside temperature and a digital read out of your speed.

You won't have the digital speed readout if you have the cockpit Chrono package.

Agh! Mine doesn't show the speed!!! Man, I feel gypped.

And I didn't know Range was how many more miles you could get out of a tank!!! I guess that makes sense now that I think about it! I guess this discovery makes up for not showing the speed. Not that I really need it to show me that anyway!

Also, when you're on Avg Speed or Avg. MPG; just mash and HOLD the little button to reset those modes.
