Historically, it's usually pretty cool in Seattle, just like in San Francisco. This year is a wee bit different, and believe me, most of us on the West Coast have air conditioning. Our's has been running non-stop for weeks now.
Just got home from shooting an Auto-X at Golden Gate Fields, which is loceted right next to the SF Bay. Nice breeze coming off the water. Thermo read 76 when I left the site. Not two miles up the freeway, it was up to 101.
107 as I pulled into home.
Jim
Yeah, but what's your humidity there? 5%. Make a huge difference.
Actually, its quite humid. Not humid by back-east or southern standards but still. It actually rained at the end of the 119 day, so you can't tell me the humidity was only 5%! It certainly did not feel like it was 5% either...
"It's a dry heat..." <---I hate hearing that line! IT'S HOT AND THAT'S THAT!

Oh, if only! See Jim's Castro Valley temp pic upthread then imagine that with NO AC.
MINI's climate control was better than Fantasy Island this week.
Like I said, "historically". Casto Valley is of course in the Bay Area, where it is usually cool enough in the summer to not need AC. Jim could go to the nudist camp that's in Castro Valley if he really needed to cool off.

And here I thought all we had to offer were three Starbucks and a Peet's!
