For those of you who don't know, Cardiff is a beach town. It was a wet heat!
We went for a bike ride and an altimiter/thermometer watch showed as high as 109.
Where is the team car with 70 water bottles!
Two things....
1. I wirked 10 hrs a day, for 3 days in a row, where it was 118 degreese, no joke it was horrible, Oh yeah, I work out in the hot sun all day.
2. My temp on the tach is in celcus. I thought it was cool, because it came from Canada.

Finally dipped below 100 outside, at about 9:30. It's still nearly that in my house -- this California bungalow has no air conditioning, and it's too hot to use the whole house fan.
Thank goodness I have self-saturating tee shirts to help keep me cool!

Omg, if you think that's hot, try detailing a black car in 110 degree weather!!! It's the last time I'll ever try something so foolish. Although I was in the shade, just a few squirts of quick detailer, and you could see it evaporating off the paint immediately--literally steaming!
And it was so humid that all my chemicals became runny. My wax took 5 times longer to dry. Then to top it off, it began raining!!!
Crazy weather!!!

As VRBeauty pointed out, we all live in California bungalows with no A/C. (Where's the sweating smiley?)

I'm in Seattle for the summer, my first time in this area, up from Florida. Despite only being 90-something here, I have to say this lack of air conditioning is Killing me. I've been getting very little sleep at night because it's just too darn hot in this room. Now I understand why everyone in FL keeps the buildings frigid during the summer. When will the west coast discover A/C??

We're lucky here in Hawaii, it doesn't get too hot, mid 80's today.
I'm glad of that because I don't do well in the heat.
Was at Thunderhill yesterday (as in Willows, CA).
Had to have your face shield down while on track to prevent from getting "air burn"!!

I think it may be easier to appreciate in the abstract....
111 outside, 95 in here where it's cooler.
At least it's a clean sweat.
