I always keep 6 rolls of duct tape and, oh, maybe 1200 sq. ft. of plastic sheeting in the boot. I think I can confidently say that I could survive in my MINI for at least the duration of the Bush administration.

Um, forever. I guess you could eat the leather seats like early explorers would eat saw dust and shoe leather...

Well, hopefully that's no more than about 21 months from now. That ought to be do-able.

BTW, they already did this contest in Boston last summer. I think the winner lasted about two weeks.

I am 5'2" tall and I can eat, sleep, watch TV, well almost do anything in the space inside a MINI. so if there was a contest and there was a really nice prize, I could go a long long time! If I got bored, I'd just go motoring!

I would NEVER take a dump in my MINI, so I'd say I could only last a day or two.

Holy Crap!!! Has anybody actually read the rules for this contest? Check this out...

WFLY (FLY 92), Keeler MINI, and Time Warner Wireless Road Runner will adjust the seats prior to the contest and no further adjustments will be made. WFLY (FLY 92), Keeler MINI, and Time Warner Wireless Road Runner and the official judges will determine the position of all other parts of the car (such as windows, roof, fans, radio, etc.) and have the right to make any adjustments.

Yeah lets put the heat on at like 85, and the front seats all the way forward.....

Then there's this one:
NO CAR WILL BE AWARDED TO ANYONE UNLESS THE LAST CONTESTANT IN THE CAR HAS REMAINED IN THE VEHICLE IN QUESTION UNTIL AT LEAST MAY 2, 2003.... this for a contest that starts on April 11th.
