Halloween costumes for your MINI?

A member was telling me how another gal had placed a hugh wind up key with a suction cup onto her MINI and it got me to thinking....That would be so cool for Halloween. Any other pics. or ideas for October Fun with our MINIs? It's coming up quicker than you think guys and gals.

People have dressed their MINIs for Halloween since the early days of new MINIdom. I recall one that was done up as a toaster with fake toast attached to its roof!

Funny. Someone, I forget who, I've talked a lot tonight...said I need to call my LY MINI...deviled egg. I like that idea. Perhaps with toast added? hmmm?

Last year I dressed up my MINI as a hearse. I even put a little coffin on the back shelf. I dont have any pictures of it though, maybe this year I will take some.

Oh that would be funny. Or just put devil horns and a tail on it and a sign that says "deviled egg". Y'know.

You should take pics. The MINI is a fun car...once a year, it can be a funny car!

Very cool idea. How about me sitting in the front seat wearing angel wings and halo? Contrast is very Halloweenish.

I have a yorkie that went as a hotdog last year. My MINI will take some thought. But I'm getting so many good ideas. You guys and gals out there are as weird as I'd hoped you'd be.

Your MINI sounds like it LOVES to party! Awesome idea! I know I responded earlier, but the thought of that mini coffin in a MINI just cracked me up...people stare at our MINIs anyway...why not push the envelope during a really fun day?

Okay, so I told my husband about this thread and he just looked at me and shook his head. And then he said "PLEASE tell me you're not going to make your MINI a costume for Halloween". He just doesn't get it. Sigh.

My Hubby doen't quite understand the depth and complexity of thought I put into my MINI and Halloween. SOOOO...Whatcha ya gonna do at Halloween to make your soulmate worry about your mental capacity? Might I suggest something serious....like Mouse ears?

Last year I did a display at the county fair where I dressed up some of my die cast MINIs. Yes, it was a off-beat as it sounds, but I won 4th place! The dressed up cars were all puns, for example:

MINI mouse = MINI plus mickey mouse ears

MINI soda viking = MINI plus soda bottle plus football helmet

MINI Pearl = MINI wearing a straw hat with price tag attached

MINI stroni = MINI in a bowl, with beans, noodles and dried veggies

I can't remember all of them, but you get the idea. Some of these or something similar might lend itself to a Holloween custom idea.

My idea is really off the wall. If stems from a costume a friend had in college...so there comes the off the wall bit...And since SoulFire is EB/W (sorta) it could work...So the costume is partly cloudy with a chance of showers.
This is how it was pulled off...she wore a blue body suit...blue car....with little clouds...I can put clouds on SF.. and she carried water pistols...so whenever someone asked her what she was, partly cloudy, with a chance of showers, she sprayed them...I don't know if I can pull it off for the MINI, but it has been the most memorable costume to date for me. and I don't even like the person who made it up!

Or I'll think of something along the lines of the dragon route, since I sorta have half the car covered anyway!
who knows!
